Setting Up a LinkedIn Company Page: A Support Guide for Small Businesses

Step 1: Creating Your Company Page
Personal LinkedIn Account:
You'll need a personal LinkedIn account to create and manage a Company Page. Ensure your personal profile is complete and professional.
Navigate to Page Creation:

Step 2: Completing Your Page Information
"Overview" Tab: Description:
Write a detailed and engaging "About Us" section.
Highlight your mission, values, products/services, and target audience. Use relevant keywords for search optimization.
Location:
Add your company's location(s).
Hashtags:
Add up to 3 relevant hashtags.
"About Us" Section Details:
Ensure all the data you entered in step one is accurate.
"Posts" Tab:
This is where you will add content.
Step 3: Adding a Cover Image
Cover Image:
Upload a visually appealing cover image that represents your brand.
Recommended size is 1128 x 191 pixels.
Consider using an image that showcases your products, services, or company culture.
Step 4: Publishing Your First Post
"Start a post":
Click "Start a post" on your Company Page's timeline.
Create Content:
Share company news, industry insights, job openings, or relevant content.
Use high-quality images or videos to enhance engagement.
Use relevant hashtags to increase visibility.
Publish:
Click "Post."
Step 5: Inviting Connections
"Invite connections":
LinkedIn allows company page admins to invite their 1st degree connections to follow the company page. Do this carefully, and do not spam your connections.
Share the Page:
Share your Company Page link on your website, email signature, and other social media profiles.
